04 · The regulation
Three things about the regulation that almost nobody writes, and they change your schedule.
Class marking, for a hybrid, doesn't exist.
It is reserved for purely electrically powered vehicles. A hybrid aircraft doesn't get marked: it gets authorized through predefined risk assessments, which a marking doesn't require at all. Anyone promising you one hasn't read the consolidated text.
The prototype gets tested today, without authorization.
The product regulation doesn't apply to aircraft built for own use, so the test campaign starts in the open category at zero authorization cost. Months gained, not theoretical ones.
Persistence isn't monetized by flying far.
Every simplified procedure limits the distance from the pilot to a few kilometers. You monetize by staying over the same area for an entire shift, inside a reserved space or covered by a notice to airmen. This changes the operational concept, and changes what you have to write in the specification.
The three corrections come from verification against the consolidated texts, chapter 7 of the study. The study downloads below, in full, without leaving your email.
